Who is Eligible to Receive Services?

Home Health Care is available for people of any age, regardless of payment source, living in DeKalb County and the surrounding area. However, the following criteria must be met:

  • The patient must be considered to be homebound - needing assistance to leave the home for short periods of time.
     
  • The patient’s physician must approve home care

A nurse is able to make one free visit to the home to determine what services are needed.
